How small arcade changes grew into life around Ember Harbor. This selection follows creative decisions through their original released builds and gameplay recordings; the complete release history remains available separately.
Footage is preserved in its original form. Use the player controls to watch, pause or listen.
A streak gives a run a rhythm beyond the score. Visible milestones and an optional chime acknowledge a string of catches; a missed star ends the streak without taking points or lives away.

Catch the rhythm. Keep it going.
Build your streak. Every golden or violet star caught adds one. Catch five in a row, then ten and each later ten, for a clear milestone message and optional chime. Your current streak and best this round stay beside the goals.

Start again, anytime. Missing a star or taking a meteor hit ends the streak. A shield block protects it. Misses still cost no points or lives, and streaks add no score multiplier.
See your best run. Arcade and 60-second rush results show your best catch streak. Pause and Settings hold your progress; a new round starts a fresh streak. The same scores, goals, controls and offline play continue.
The shower has a countdown and incoming-lane markers before the meteors arrive. A broad gap remains through both volleys, and recovery time gives the next rush room to breathe. Watch the warning and the space it leaves for the player.

A shower is coming. A countdown and orange incoming-lane markers give you time to move before two short meteor volleys arrive.

Room through the rush. A broad gap stays clear through both volleys. Showers wait for earlier meteors to clear and leave a short recovery afterward. XL and XXL meteors take their own turn.
Your rhythm continues. Catch stars and shields between hazards. Pause holds the warning and every falling meteor; lives, streaks, multipliers, round goals and both modes keep working.
The original Cosmic Current melody grows through calm, rhythm and danger layers, then settles as the sky clears. Music and effects remain separate choices, and pausing gives the player quiet. Play the original footage to hear the changing layers.

Your own mix. Turn Music and Sound effects on or off independently, from the game or Settings. Your choices stay saved on this device when storage is available. Both start off for a new player.
A breather stays quiet. Pause, Settings, leaving the window and finishing a round silence the soundtrack. Resume when ready. Music works offline after the game is cached, and gives no lane or target hints.
A thumbstick below the playfield lets touch players steer without covering the falling stars. The drag starts wherever the finger lands and springs back on release. Keyboard and direct dragging remain available.

Keep your way to play. Arrow keys, A/D and dragging directly on the playfield still work. The score, lives, goals and audio controls stay visible.
A pause stays a pause. Releasing, pausing, opening settings or leaving the game clears movement. Resume when ready, with a fresh gesture.
The same rush, anywhere. Your stars, meteors, streaks, multipliers and separate music and sound choices continue, including offline after the game is cached.
